Dr Maree Kekeff is a specialist breast surgeon with extensive training in Australia and New Zealand, dedicated to delivering personalised, patient-centred care. Originally from Newcastle, NSW, Dr Maree Kekeff completed her medical degree and General Surgery Fellowship on the Gold Coast before being selected into the BreastSurgANZ Fellowship Program, further developing her expertise in breast cancer diagnosis, management, and surgery.
Dr Maree Kekeff completed advanced training at renowned centres including Tauranga Hospital in New Zealand under Dr Peter Chin, and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney, working alongside experienced breast surgeons A/Prof Cindy Mak, A/Prof Sanjay Warrier, and Dr Susannah Graham.
We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Dipti McGowan to the team. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus on therapies to support individuals diagnosed with breast cancer.
Dr. McGowan is a warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in psycho-oncology—providing psychological support to individuals and families navigating the emotional challenges of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. She offers evidence-based care for concerns such as anxiety, depression, treatment-related stress, adjustment difficulties, and body image issues.
In addition to her oncology work, Dr. McGowan provides comprehensive clinical psychology services across the lifespan, including support for children, adolescents, and adults. She has extensive experience working with a wide range of mental health issues, including mood disorders, trauma, grief, life transitions, and stress management.
With a collaborative and client-centred approach, Dr. McGowan is dedicated to helping individuals build resilience, enhance wellbeing, and feel supported throughout their health journey and beyond.
Sharon Douglas is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Breast Oncology, Counsellor, and Accredited Breast Form Fitter. As the founder of Mind Body Bedroom, Sharon offers individualised support for people affected by breast cancer and other life transitions that impact body image and wellbeing.
With a background in both clinical nursing and therapeutic counselling, Sharon provides private breast form fittings, post-surgical garment consultations, and supportive counselling in a safe, compassionate space. She is dedicated to helping each client feel heard, respected, and supported.
Melinda is a cosmetically trained tattoo artist with a deep understanding of trauma, skin, and the emotional weight our bodies can carry.

Dr Scott Turner is a highly regarded Specialist Plastic Surgeon based in Sydney, now offering monthly consultations at Gold Coast Breast Centre. A Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), Dr Turner has undertaken extensive surgical training in Australia and internationally, including advanced fellowships in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr Turner is committed to providing individualised care with a focus on surgical precision and patient safety. His approach is centred on safety, education, and personalised care, taking the time to understand each patient’s goals and concerns.
